調查「金建希賄賂案」的特別檢察官，通知統一教總裁韓鶴子出席傳喚調查，理由是她涉嫌向總統夫人金建希與國會議員權性東提供金錢與財物。
不過，韓鶴子並未回應是否出席，反而於今日突然入住由統一教經營的醫院。據悉，她將以涉嫌違反《政治資金法》、湮滅證據等共五項罪嫌的被告身分接受傳喚。
在傳喚前夕，韓鶴子於9月1日曾向首爾峨山醫院詢問是否能夠住院。但由於該院三個月前才因安排金建希夫人入住VIP病房而遭輿論批評，院方在檢視韓的健康狀況後，最終拒絕收治。隨後，韓轉至清平一所由統一教財團所屬的醫院住院。
過去，韓鶴子曾要求特檢解除出境禁令，理由是欲赴美接受心臟手術，但遭到駁回。外界認為，她可能意圖以健康問題為由，規避傳喚調查。
特檢方面表示，認定在韓鶴子的指示下，對尹錫悅總統提供了非法政治支援。世界本部長尹煐鎬也證述，為了實現韓鶴子提出的「政教一致」教義，他們接近尹錫悅，並向金建希及權性東提供金錢與財物。
基於此，特檢認為賄賂行為獲得了韓鶴子的授意。然而，韓鶴子於8月31日發表聲明，強調「從未有任何非法政治請託，也未曾下達金錢交易的指示」。
The special prosecutor investigating the “Kim Keon-hee” bribery case has summoned Han Hak-ja, president of the Unification Church, to appear for questioning on suspicion of giving money and valuables to First Lady Kim Keon-hee and lawmaker Kwon Seong-dong.
Han did not answer whether she would comply with the summons, and today she was suddenly admitted to a hospital operated by the Unification Church.
Han is being summoned as a suspect facing five charges, including violations of the Political Funds Act and destruction of evidence.
Ahead of the summons, on September 1, Han inquired with Asan Medical Center in Seoul, asking, “Can I be hospitalized?”
However, three months earlier, Asan Medical Center had admitted First Lady Kim Keon-hee to its VIP ward, drawing public criticism for giving her special treatment.
As a result, after checking Han’s health condition, Asan Medical Center declined to admit her.
Han was therefore hospitalized at a hospital owned by the Unification Church Foundation in Cheongpyeong.
Previously, Han had asked the special prosecutor to lift her overseas travel ban so that she could undergo heart surgery in the United States.
But the special prosecutor rejected her request.
It appears that Han is using health issues as an excuse to avoid being questioned.
The special prosecutor believes that under Han’s direction, illegal support was provided to President Yoon Suk-yeol.
In fact, Yun Yeong-ho, head of the Unification Church World Headquarters, testified as follows:
In order to realize Han’s doctrine of “unity of politics and religion,” meaning that politics and the church should become one, they approached President Yoon Suk-yeol and gave money and valuables to First Lady Kim Keon-hee and lawmaker Kwon Seong-dong.
Therefore, the special prosecutor judged that the bribes to the president were approved by Han.
In response, on August 31, 2025, Han declared, “There were no illegal political solicitations, and I never instructed any monetary transactions.”
